PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water type radiation heater with a fan suppressing overshoot and undershoot by elongating the operation time of a single radiation heating by a heat radiation plate. SOLUTION: This hot water type radiation heater 1 with the fan is provided with an opening/closing valve 11 controlling the feed of hot water from a heat source machine, a first heat exchange 5 connected to the opening/closing valve 11 and disposed on the rear surface of the heat radiation plate 4 forming the front surface of a heater body, a second heat exchange 8 having one end connected to the first heat exchange 5 and the other end connected to the heat source machine, and an air blower 9 blowing an air sucked from an intake port 2 and raising the temperature with its heat exchanged by the second heat exchanger 8 from a hot air blow port 3. This heater is provided with a room temperature detecting sensor 13 detecting the room temperature and a control device 30 controlling the opening/closing valve 11 and the blower 9 by differentiating the on/off temperature by the temperature detecting sensor.
