PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous acrylic fiber containing a provitamin C agent which is a precursor of vitamin C in the fiber, improving endurance of the provitamin C agent, and making the agent sustained-release, without deteriorating feelings of the fiber itself, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a textile product by using the same. SOLUTION: This porous acrylic fiber contains the oil-soluble provitamin C agent. The provitamin C agent is preferably contained in an amount of≤2 wt.%. The method for producing the porous acrylic fiber comprises dissolving cellulose acetate and an acrylonitrile copolymer in an organic solvent to form dope, solidifying and drawing the dope in an aqueous solution of the organic solvent, washing the drawn dope to form the acrylic fiber in a gelled and swollen state, adding the oil-soluble provitamin C agent which is included in a fine inorganic compound to the acrylic fiber together with an activator, and further drying and densifying the acrylic fiber containing the agent.
