An apparatus for degassing comprises a liquid holder (5), that is at or below atmosphere pressure and is at least periodically - in gas-exchange contact with the atmosphere; preferably a pre-chamber (6) located below the level of the liquid holder, and placed in its immediate vicinity an efficient, heat transmitting adjustable-output heater (20). Heat-sensors (21) reach into the liquids in the holder and pre-chamber. The heater and the heat-sensors are in contact with a central unit (30) via control-leads. The heater heats the liquids in the holder and pre-chamber and temperatures reach are recorded by the sensors. When predetermined temperatures are reached, the heater cuts out, and the duration of the heating period is noted, as well the number of the degassing periods, together with the duration of intervals between any two periods. Findings are expressed as a function of the heater's switched on state. |
