PURPOSE: A method for inspecting quality of a laser welding section and a system for performing the same are provided to carry out a real-time laser welding inspection by determining a relation ship of a signal status of laser beam reflective waves with respect to welding defects. CONSTITUTION: A system for inspecting quality of laser welding includes a laser oscillator(1). Laser beam radiated from the laser oscillator(1) is transferred to an optical head(11) through an optical cable(3). Upon receiving laser beam from the laser oscillator(1), the optical head(11) moves along a welding section(9) of a welding object by means of a working robot(5) in order to radiate laser beam into the welding section(9) so as to weld the welding object. A transmission filter(15) is provided in a laser cavity(13) connected to the optical cable(3). The transmission filter(15) includes an optical filter capable of filtering signals having wavelengths in a range of 600nm to 1200nm. A light receiving sensor(17) is provided at one side of the transmission filter(15) in order to receive reflective wave.
