<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersion which does not require the long-term treatment by a dispersion apparatus, has high dispersion stability and the uniformity in size independently of the size of primary particles of a pigment as the raw material, is of the order of nanometer, and excels in transparency, a method for manufacturing the same, and an aqueous coloring fluid which excels in water resistance and light resistance, color development and light transmittance, particularly an inkjet recording fluid. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the organic pigment dispersion comprises a dissolution step of dissolving an organic pigment and a dispersing agent in an acid or a mixed solution of an acid and an organic solvent and a deposition step of mixing the pigment solution obtained in the dissolution step with water to deposit the organic pigment. The organic pigment dispersion is obtained by this method. The aqueous coloring fluid, particularly the inkjet recording fluid contains this organic pigment dispersion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
