PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment capable of quickly designating the opposite party from a dial history. SOLUTION: When ten-keys are operated, information about history numbers and the opposite parties corresponding to the operated ten-keys for three cases is displayed at an upper part of a display part 70, and the history numbers and the opposite parties corresponding to the ten-keys are subjected to reversing display. That is, when a history number is inputted from the ten-keys, the display part 70 is allowed to display the effect that the opposite party corresponding to the inputted history number is selected, shifting to a state in which a user can make a call to the selected opposite party. Even when there are many opposite parties between the last opposite party to which a fax is transmitted and a desired opposite party, the opposite party corresponding to the inputted history number is selected in this way only by inputting the history number of the desired opposite party with the ten-keys.
