Natural prods. having been purified, milled or shaped into blocks, are placed on the water contaminating oils in order to absorb these. The absorption process is assisted by pref. prepositioned guide-booms. The booms are cylindrical, being shaped by a filter-like mantle filled with the natural prod. An air hose runs through the center of the boom. The external surface of the boom is equipped with holding-rings, holding ropes and end fittings to form joints. |
