PURPOSE: Provided is a lithium secondary battery inhibiting the reaction of propylene carbonate(PC) as one component of an electrolyte solution and carbon, which has improved lifetime and capacity. CONSTITUTION: The lithium secondary battery is produced by a process comprising the steps of: coating and drying a composition containing 0.5-7pts.wt. of a fluorine-based resin and 93-99.5pts.wt. of an organic solvent to form a fluorine-based resin thin film on at least one active material layer of a cathode and an anode and to form the fluorine-based resin in voids among the components of the active material layer; placing a porous membrane made of an insulating resin between the cathode and the anode to form an electrode assembly; putting the electrode assembly into a battery case and injecting a polymer electrolyte composition which consists of crosslinking monomers and the electrolyte solution containing lithium salts and an organic solvent, into the battery case; and polymerizing the resultant. The fluorine-based resin is at least one selected from the group consisting of vinylidenefluoride-hexafluoropropylene copolymer and polyvinylidene fluoride. |
