PURPOSE: A priority communication apparatus in a mobile terminal and a method therefor are provided to increase a user's economical and temporal efficiency by giving priority to a communication module that can execute communication most rapidly and stably, in communicating with communication modules connected to a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A priority communication apparatus in a mobile terminal consists of a one or more communication modules(10-30), a priority determination part(40), and a CPU(50). The communication modules(10-30) enable communication in various ways, such as CDMA/GSM, Bluetooth, 802.11b, etc. The priority determination part(40) gives priority to a communication module for the optimum communication among the communication modules(10-30). The CPU(50) controls each of the components, and executes communication through the highest priority communication module.
