<p>Pressure sensitive adhesive material comprising a flexible support e.g. woven textile or flexible film, coated on one surface with a polyolefin adhesive derived from a 6-16C monomeric olefin and pref. of formula (where n is 3-13 if polymer is formed from different monomers or 3-18 if only one monomer is used). The polyolefin has a Williams plasticity of 0.8 to 4.0, an intrinsic viscosity of 1.5 to 7.0 and is up to 40% soluble in a mixt. of equal volume of heptane and acetone. This pressure-sensitive adhesive material is readily used as adhesive tape or bandage for human skin and does not cause allergic effects. It also retains excellent adhesive power over 24 hrs.</p> |
