The baler includes a compression chamber (13) with an admission orifice and at least two neighbouring chambers (31) that are separated by several continuous conveying elements, such as continuously turning belts (16) guided by pulleys and extending out to lateral walls (6-8). The baler also includes at least one device (40,51) designed to generate a puff of air so that undesirable fragments of fodder are blown out of at least one neighbouring chamber of the bale compression chamber of the baler.
