摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium which attains the compatibility of good preservable stability by improving a corrosion resistance without degrading thermal conductivity with good recording characteristics at a high line speed by using a material essentially consisting of Ag for a reflective heat radiating layer or translucent reflective heat radiating layer, is low in cost and is suitable for mass production and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The optical recording medium 10 is formed by laminating a recording layer 13 recorded and reproduced with information by a reversible phase transition to a crystalline state and an amorphous state by irradiation with a laser beam on a transparent substrate 11. The optical recording medium 10 is provided with the reflective heat radiating layer 15 laminated on at least the recording layer 13 and the reflective heat radiating layer 15 consists of the Ag or Ag alloy and the average crystal particle diameter in an intra-surface direction is &le;0.15 &mu;m. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
