<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code-division multiplex transmission system, etc., using cyclic shift cyclic extension codes. <P>SOLUTION: The code-division multiplex transmission system 101 uses basic codes (a minimum unit of the basic code in time is called 'chip', hereinafter), a plurality of cyclic shift codes resulting from that the basic code is cyclically shifted by mutually different numbers of cyclic shift chips, and a plurality of cyclic shift cyclic extension codes resulting from that, with respect to the individuals of the plurality of cyclic shift codes, in front of the cyclic shift code, a number of front expansion chips at its tail are extended and, in the rear of the cyclic shift code, a number of rear extension chips at its head are expanded. A transmitter 121 transmits transmission signals by the code division multiplex transmission, using the plurality of cyclic shift cyclic extension codes. A receiver 141 takes correlation between the plurality of cyclic shift codes and received signals to estimate and compensate for changed values of their phases and amplitudes from the result, thereby obtaining transmission signals to enable the same number of multiplexing as the chip length of the basic code at maximum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
