PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable shake correcting device in which locking of a shake correction lens in not unlocked even when inadvertent impact force is applied. SOLUTION: The shake correcting device is equipped with: a lock pin 93 for locking the action of a lens frame 7 by moving in a direction nearly along the optical axis of a shake correction lens 5 and engaging with the frame 7; a latch solenoid 90 having a plunger 90a actuated at the time of a lock action; a lever 910 rotatably provided to change the driving force in the actuation direction of the plunger 90a to that in the direction nearly along the optical axis I and transmit the resultant force to the pin 93; and a counter balance 100 provided to the lever 910 and prepared for the pin 93 and/or the plunger 90a.
