PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate the input signals different from when signals are inputted from individual switch, in the case signals are inputted from a plurality of switches. SOLUTION: A switch input device 28 is composed of a multi-directionally operating button 30, an input signal discriminating part 29, and a switch unit 130. The multi-directionally operating button 30 is constituted of an upper button 31, a lower button 32, a right button 33, a left button 34, a center button 35, a right-upper button 36, a right-lower button 37, a left-upper button 38 and a left-lower button 39 installed at the surface 30a. A switch unit 130 is composed of a switch 131, a lower switch 132, a right switch 133, a left switch 134, and a center switch 135. The multi-directionally operating button 30 carries out 17 kinds of switch inputs by using switch inputs of 9 directions (8 directions + center).
