PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reproducing characteristics of an optical disk drive. SOLUTION: Light spots BS 1 to BS 5 are formed on a plurality of recording tracks of an optical disk 200 by dividing the light beam emitted from a light source 21 into five parts by a grating 22 and the return light beams RB 1 to RB 5 from the optical disk 200 corresponding to these light spots are respectively detected by first to fifth photodetecting regions 27a to 27e of a photodetector 27. First to fifth waveform equalizing sections 58a to 58e respectively independently perform waveform equalization in accordance with correction coefficients K1 to K5 obtained by computing the RF signals meeting the quantities of the respective received return light beams by a coefficient computing section 61.
