PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily extend functions of a juxtaposedly mounted photoelectric sensor system. SOLUTION: An amplifier unit array is constituted by mounting two or more amplifier units (2) each constituting an amplifier separate type photoelectric sensor, a 1st transmission line (BB) is connected to the respective amplifier units and can always transmit data from those amplifier units in one direction as they are, and 2nd transmission lines (BS0, BS1) are connected to the respective amplifier units and can transmit data regarding those amplifier units in two directions at each time. An extension unit (1) is connected to the 1st transmission line and/or 2nd transmission lines and can extend individual functions of the respective amplifier units constituting the amplifier unit array and/or the function of the whole amplifier unit array associatively with at least one or all of the amplifier units constituting the amplifier unit array.
