PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner allowing one of indoor heat exchangers to stop or perform a blast operation and efficiently exhibiting condenser capacity and evaporation capacity by changing the rotation speed of an outdoor air blower according to outside air temperature. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises a compressor 2, a four-way valve 3, an outdoor heat exchanger 4, a main expansion valve 5, and the indoor heat exchangers 7a and 7b, constitutes a refrigerant circuit by connecting these devices in order by a refrigerant pipe, and is provided with an indoor unit storing the indoor heat exchangers 7a and 7b and the duct for connecting the respective rooms. This conditioner controls opening/closing of the respective opening/closing valves 11, 13, 15, 17, and 18 according the operation state, controls the opening of the main expansion valve 5 and a sub expansion valve 16, so that the indoor heat exchangers 7a and 7b selectively or simultaneously perform a cooling operation and a heating operation, and either one of the indoor heat exchangers 7a or 7b is cooling operated or heating operated, and the other is stopped or performs the blast operation.
