摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear device constituting a branch drive system which can be connected to a plurality of drive systems, miniaturized and provided with sufficient strength and quality. <P>SOLUTION: The gear device constituting the branch drive system meshes with a branch gear 12 extending in the direction of a shaft driven by a drive source at a position where gears 14 and 16 of a plurality of drive systems, which are different from each other in their torque, are different from each other in the axial direction of the branch gear 12. When force, which is larger than that working on a working flank B where the teeth of the branch gear 12 works on the teeth of the gear 16, works on a working flank A where the teeth of the branch gear 12 works on the teeth of the gear 14, the deformation quantity of the vicinity of the working flank A is made as small as possible, and a web 12c for connecting a hub 12a to a rim 12b is also arranged close to the working flank A of the branch gear 12 to be well-balanced with the deformation quantity of the vicinity of the working flank B to make the deformation quantity of the working flank A nearly the same as that of the working flank B.
