<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film having little haze, stripe irregularity and few cracks and having an excellent antireflection property and an antistatic property and to provide a method of manufacturing a display device and an optical film having the above film. <P>SOLUTION: The antireflection film is obtained by depositing a metal oxide layer on a long-length resin film or a long-length resin film having a rough surface by forming a coating layer thereon. The long-length resin film is ≥1 m wide, has <5 absolute degrees of the angle made by the longitudinal direction and the slow phase axis and 0.00002 to 0.00015 double refraction (Nx-Ny) being the difference between the refractive index Nx in the slow phase axis and the refractive index Ny in the fast phase axis (at a right angle to the slow phase axis) in the plane at 590 nm wavelength, and is formed by a solution casting method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
