PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service providing system which includes a control center and more improves security of personal information management, stability and reliability during operations, and a service providing method therefor. SOLUTION: Personal information of a service user verified by a user information verification apparatus 11 and attached with a digital signature (signed- personal information) is stored in a highly secure form within a service user apparatus 12. For receiving services, the service user apparatus 12 transmits the signed-personal information stored therein to a service provider apparatus 13.
