PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch wherein a mechanism for pressing a moving side optical fiber to a groove for positioning the optical fiber is simple and small. SOLUTION: In this switch for selectively switching and connecting the moving side optical fiber 2 to an optical path of a plurality of fixed side fibers 1, wherein one end part of each of the plurality of fibers 1 is fixed halfway in its own longitudinal direction of the groove 4 for positioning an optical fiber with the position of its end face arranged by pressing the moving side optical fiber 2 to the groove 4 for positioning an optical fiber of an optical fiber support member 3 with a pressing part 5a of a hammer 5; the hammer 5 is made of an elastic member and produces energization force for pressing the moving side optical fiber 2 to the groove 4 for positioning an optical fiber by its own elastic force, a wire 8 that is extendable and contractable is connected to the hammer 5 by conduction control, and the pressing of the hammer 5 to the moving side optical fiber 2 is released by the extending and contracting movement of the wire 8.
