PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately provide an event to an application program controlled by an operating system not capable of simultaneously executing a plurality of application programs without limiting a degree of freedom in design of an electronic device. SOLUTION: An event acquiring part 121 acquires an event generated by an event generation part 10, and supplies the event to an event providing part 122. In the case of an operation mode A, the event providing part 122 refers to a waiting status event table T1, and provides the event to an application program corresponding to the event. When the event is provided to a communication AP 131, the communication AP 131 is activated before the provision. In the case of operation mode B, the event providing part 122 provides the event to a Java executing environment 140.
