PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a memory capacity required for a central control unit and a remote controller. SOLUTION: The central control unit 12 downloads icon sources and command from each of AV apparatuses 14, transmits the icon sources to the remote controller 26, creates an icon table wherein the AV apparatuses, the commands and positions of icons related to the icon sources are stored in cross-reference with each other, and outputs the commands in the icon table corresponding to position information sent from the remote controller depending on the selection of the icons to a corresponding AV apparatus. When the command corresponding to the selected icon is a GUI read instruction, the central control unit downloads the GUI source and the GUI command from the corresponding AV apparatus and transmits the GUI source to the remote controller and creates a GUI command table wherein coordinates and GUI commands are stored in cross-reference with each other, and outputs a GUI command in the GUI command table corresponding to input position information sent from the remote controller depending on operation inputs to a corresponding AV apparatus.
