PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric leakage wave antenna which has high reliability, is simple in structure and can control beam directions, in a small size and at low cost. SOLUTION: A metal board 30 is placed in a state with a clearance created on a side of a one face 23b of a dielectric substrate 23 between a feeding part 26 and a metal strip 25, a metal strip 25 of the metal board 30 is changed in height by a phase control part 35 at each position along the direction of the length of the metal strip 25 of the metal board 30 with respect to one face 23b of the dielectric substrate 23, and phases of electromagnetic waves transmitting through a portion sandwiched between the metal board 30 of the dielectric substrate 23 and a base board conductor 21 are controlled, at each position along the direction of the length of the metal strip 25.
