PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure of the manhole joint and a manhole which is resistant to damage even if an external force is applied thereto. SOLUTION: According to the connecting structure, an anchor member is fixed to at least one of an outer peripheral surface of the manhole joint and an outer wall surface of the manhole in the vicinity of a joint mounting portion, and reinforcing concrete is placed over an area about the anchor member to cover the same.
