LOAD EVALUATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING DESIGN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load evaluation system and a method for supporting design for judging the sensuous load of a user who actually uses a facility. SOLUTION: This load evaluation system is provided with: an information inputting part 20 for inputting information associated with the physical characteristics and evaluation attitudes or operations of a user; a physical data storing part 31 for storing the dimensional information of each of the physical parts of human being; a sensuous load storing part 32 for storing a database to which the sensuous load is assigned according to information associated with the physical characteristics and the evaluation attitudes or operations of the user and a torque to be applied to joints; a physical dimension estimating part 11 for estimating the physical dimensions by referring to the physical data storing part 31 on the basis of the physical characteristics of the user; a torque estimating part 12 for estimating the torque to be applied to the joints on the basis of the information associated with the estimated physical dimensions and the evaluation attitudes or operations; and a sensuous load estimating part 13 for estimating the sensuous load of the user by referring to the sensuous load storing part 32 on the basis of the information associated with the physical characteristics and the evaluation attitudes or operations of the user and the estimated torque.
