PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, a connection control method, a program and a recording medium, capable of automatically restoring connection to an external device with the information processing device, without causing the information processing device to reboot, and enhance user convenience. SOLUTION: The information processing device has an external device connecting port 31 for connection the external device with the information processing device, and consecutively executes trial operation for connection with the external device, via the external device connecting port 31.
