PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure safety in the event of an earthquake and make as small as possible the economical loss caused by the stop of combustion equipment. SOLUTION: This system includes: a first control means which stops combustion when power to the combustion equipment 1 stops; a second control means which stops combustion when an earthquake sensor 4 senses a seismic intensity equal to or greater than a predetermined value; an earthquake determining means which determines whether an earthquake has occurred according to information coming from other than the earthquake sensor 4 when the earthquake sensor 4 senses a seismic intensity equal to or greater than the predetermined value; and a third control means which produces a safety check signal or a combustion restart signal for the combustion equipment 1 when the earthquake determining means determines that no earthquake has occurred.
