<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic door suited for use in living space as it emits less noise when moved for opening/closing. <P>SOLUTION: In the automatic door, a drive pulley 11 is mounted on an output shaft 10a of an electric motor 10 and a belt 13 is wound on the drive pulley 11 and a driven pulley 12. Door rollers 17 which turn along guide rails 14 are used to support the door 15 in a manner enabling the door to freely move for opening/closing. The door 15 is connected to the belt 13. Because the portion of the drive pulley 11 driven by the motor 10 causes very little noise and the noise caused by the opening/closing movement of the door is reduced, the automatic door is suited for use in living space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
