<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an angle of bank of a body and to collect drive technical data including the angle of bank and being useful for improving a drive technique of a two-wheeler. <P>SOLUTION: The data collecting unit is made up so that a CPU 5 is connected with a first acceleration sensor 6 detecting the body in the right and left directions, a second acceleration sensor 7 (or velocity sensor 11) detecting the body in the forward and backward directions, a brake signal I/F 8 inputting a bake signal, an detachable memory 9, and a operation switch 10. A force component which acts in the lateral direction of the gravitational acceleration when the body 1 is inclined, is exerted on the first acceleration sensor 6, and therefore the banking angle of the body is detected by the CPU 5 based on the detection signal of the force component. The CPU 5 stores data on the angle of bankθ, velocity data and data of the brake signal into the memory 9 as sequential data of time by one second when driving the two-wheeler. A driver grasps a level of his/her technique based on the stored data, and thereby enabling to improve the drive technique. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
