<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing realizing a long life by certainly retaining a lubricant in a pocket of a retainer and carrying out a quiet operation by preventing an abnormal noise and a vibration by a collision of the retainer and the ball. <P>SOLUTION: The ball bearing is provided with a wave-form retainer 10 in which the ball 14 is arranged in the pocket 13. In the ball bearing, an inner peripheral surface of the pocket 13 is formed such that a curvature of a peripheral edge 12b is made smaller than that of a circumferential central part 12a. The ball bearing is formed such that a gap of an inner peripheral surface central part 12a of the pocket 13 and the ball is made small at a peripheral edge part 12b side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
