PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for image processing for enhancing theatrical effects and easily recording an image with a simple method without losing conventional functions. SOLUTION: A memory controller 12 selects an address of each pixel and reads color space data from an image data buffer memory 14 storing n still pictures such a pictures (1), (2),..., (n). A composite arithmetic processing section 13 multiplies the color space data of each pixel by an optional weight coefficient, sums the respective multiplication results, and composes a plurality of the still pictures for overlapping processing.
