PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of communication by helping a user to understand contents of e-mail, a telephone call, etc., when the e-mail, the telephone call, etc., are received. SOLUTION: The user is helped to understand the contents of communication by retrieving a communication history so far on the basis of sender address information when the e-mail is received and sender ID information when the telephone call is received and displaying retrieval results on the screen.
