PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vaporizer, which is operated without placing a burden on a user, and whose hot water tank utilizing a natural circulation is excellent in temperature distribution. SOLUTION: A vaporizer comprises: an evaporator 13, whose upstream is connected with an LPG introducing pipe 16 through a liquid outflow preventive valve 14 and a hydraulic regulating valve 15, and whose downstream is connected to a gas supply conduit 30 through an evaporation cylinder 17; the hot water tank 11 housing the evaporator 13 therein; and an outer kiln 33 heating heat medium in the hot water tank 11. The hot water tank 11 is connected with the outer kiln 33 by at least two communicating pipes 35, so that upper and lower openings of one communicating pipe 35a is high in level, and upper and lower openings of the other communicating pipe 35b are low in level. The outer kiln 33 is located at a side of the hot water tank 11, and the communicating pipes 35 are spaced from each other in a perpendicular direction and disposed to be horizontal or inclined.
