PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-way valve with simple structure and small decline in thermal efficiency. SOLUTION: The three-way valve is equipped with a fluid inlet 1, a first outlet 2 and a second outlet 3, and makes a refrigerant flowing in from the fluid inlet flow out from either the first outlet (cooling cycle side) or the second outlet (heating cycle side). A first main valve 20 which is opened and closed by a normally opened solenoid valve 70 is provided in the flow path to the first outlet 2. A second main valve 30 which is opened and closed by a normally closed solenoid valve 50 is provided in the flow path to the second outlet 3. When a compressor is started, the refrigerant flows into the fluid inlet 1 and a cooling cycle is operated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
