PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the winding and tightening phenomenon of a damper spring, improve the durability for repeated displacement of the damper spring, and prevent the wear of a cam and a rope reel due to the vibration generated while an engine is driven to improve the durability. SOLUTION: Annular recesses 12, 13 are opposingly formed on the join face of the rope reel 4 around which a recoil rope 2 is wound and the cam 8. The damper spring 14 is stored in the annular recesses 12, 13. Both ends of the damper spring 14 are locked in the rope reel 4 and the cam 8, respectively, to rotate and connect the rope reel 4 and the cam 8 mutually through the damper spring 14. A stopper means 19 for regulating the maximum displacement angle of the damper spring 14 is formed between the rope reel 4 and the cam 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
