PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel filter capable of preventing the malfunction of a level switch so as to prevent a trouble when an engine is stopped by composing it in such a way that fuel supplied through a fuel passage provided at the center of a filtration member does not directly impinge on the level switch, or that fuel impinging on the level switch is reduced. SOLUTION: This diesel filter is provided with a case forming a shell, the filtration member contained in the case, and having the fuel passage roughly at a center part, and an element around the fuel passage, a lower space formed under the filtration member, and the level switch disposed in the lower space. Fuel flowing into the lower space from the fuel passage does not directly impinge on the level switch, or fuel impinging on the level switch is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
