PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof structure which presents an epoch-making appearance, and is formed, for example, in such a manner as to enhance a waterproof function, a heat insulating function, a dew-condensation preventing function and a snow guard function. SOLUTION: In a roofing material A which is formed in the roof structure, a vertical piece 4b, which is protruded upward, is formed on the side of the lowermost end of a slope in the longitudinal central part of facing 4, and a male-female coupling structure is formed at a side edge in a width direction.
