PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven submergible pump whereby sealing is not required between an impeller side and a rotor side of the pump, water fluid can freely passes, power consumption can be reduced, circulation of cooling water of a water-cooled engine can be effectively performed, and energy loss is reduced. SOLUTION: A stator is housed in an outer peripheral space between a flanged housing and a flanged can seal, and a rotor, a rotating shaft, and a sleeve bearing are housed in an inside space of the can seal. The sleeve bearing is arranged in a central hole of a base of a pump casing, and the base and the respective flange parts are sealed and fixed. An impeller mounted on a tip of the rotating shaft is installed inside the pump casing. The sleeve bearing is substantially constituted by a shaft and a sleeve, and the sleeve or the shaft is formed by a synthetic resin composition wherein RBC or CRBC fine particles are evenly dispersed in synthetic resin or a fiber reinforced synthetic resin composition wherein non-organic fiber and/or organic fiber are mixed into the synthetic resin composition.
