PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger having excellent durability and excellent heat exchanging performance. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger 1 is formed of a primary pipe 1 having a nearly circle outline and a secondary pipe 2 having narrow parts 3 fit to the peripheral surface of the primary pipe 1, and formed by arranging them each other, while bringing them in contact with each other, and spirally winding them. With this structure, since a nearly circular heat transfer pipe is used as the primary pipe 1 and a heat transfer pipe having narrow parts 3 fit to the peripheral surface of the primary pipe is used as the secondary pipe 2 and a plurality of them are laminated for adhesion, a wide heat transfer area can be secured. Furthermore, with the structure that the primary pipes 1 and the secondary pipes 2 are adhered to each other and spirally wound, a heat transfer surface is formed in both of an upper and a lower surfaces over the nearly whole in the longitudinal direction, and sufficiently wide heat transfer area can be secured.
