PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add various types of function units having a function to improve an air quality to a heat exchanging ventilator. SOLUTION: This heat exchanging ventilator is provided with an air feed vent passage 5 having a part of its route comprising one fluid passage 3 of a heat exchanger 1 incorporated in a casing 2 constituted into a hexahedron and passing the air flow heading from the outdoor side to the indoor side by an air feed blower 4, and an exhaust vent passage 8 being independent from the air feed vent passage 5 over the whole route, having one part of the route comprising the other fluid passage 6 of the heat exchanger 1, and passing the air flow heading from the indoor side to the outdoor side by an exhaust blower 7. A widow 30 attachable of the function unit for improving the air quality is openably/closably provided in one side surface facing to the outlet side of the fluid passage 3 comprising the air feed vent passage 5 of the heat exchanger 1 in the casing 2.
