PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device capable of determining an adjusting direction and an adjusting quantity for a throttle sensor in adjusting the installation position of the throttle sensor. SOLUTION: This engine control device comprises the throttle sensor 211 interlocked with a throttle valve 210, and installed on a throttle body 21 of which the installation position is detected when the throttle valve 210 is totally closed, and an installation position display means to display the installation position. An operator can recognize the installation position of the throttle sensor 211 itself by the installation position display means 6 when the throttle sensor 211 is installed. It can thus be determined to which direction the throttle sensor 211 need be turned in a tolerable range. To what degree the throttle sensor 211 need be turned can also be determined.
