COATED PARTICLE, DETERGENT COMPOSITION, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE COATED PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain coated particles which are improved in solubility without detriment to the production suitability and powder properties by a simple coating step and are desirable for, especially, the detergent particles and builder particles of a high-bulk-density particulate detergent composition. SOLUTION: The coated particles are prepared by coating the surfaces of core particles containing a surfactant and/or a builder and having a bulk density of at least 0.5 g/mL with at least one powdery coating substance selected from the group consisting of organic and inorganic salts each having water solubility of at least 1 g/10 g at 5°C and having at least one cation being a potassium ion, magnesium ion, or a calcium ion.
