PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a drier bag of a receiver drier and the drier bag manufactured thereby are provided to process a surface of the drier bag to be cleaned and not to interfere with flow of refrigerant. CONSTITUTION: Porous fabric material(10A) made of synthetic resin for a drier bag(10) is filled with drier(20) and sealed to form the drier bag. Nap formed on a surface of the fabric is fused to the surface and removed. A pointed part(12) is formed on one end of the drier bag to allow the drier to be easily put into the drier bag. A method includes the steps of; a step(S1) preparing the porous fabric material made of synthetic resin for the drier bag and the drier; and a step(S3) cutting the fabric material to form cut fabric(10B) for the drier bag; a step(S4) put the drier in the cut fabric, and sealing. The method includes, after one of the three steps, a step(S2) heating the fabric for the drier bag at least one time to fuse and remove the nap formed on the surface of the fabric. The fabric is heated at temperature over 80 deg.C for a few seconds, preferably at 100-300 deg.C for 1-5 seconds.
