PORTABLE DEVICE FOR MONITORING BLADDER PRESSURE AND BLADDER NECK PRESSURE

PURPOSE: A portable device for monitoring bladder pressure and bladder neck pressure is provided to perform a bladder test without inserting a catheter by using a digital method. CONSTITUTION: A first pressure sensor(12) is used for detecting the flow of urination by an operation of a 3-way stopcock. The second pressure sensor(13) is installed at an input terminal of a micro-computer(10) in order to detect the bladder neck pressure. A pressure signal extraction circuit(14) removes the random noise and receives pressure signals from the first and the second pressure sensors(12,13). A low pass filter(15) is used for removing the pressure drift due to noise signals in order to input only the bladder pressure and the bladder neck pressure to the micro-computer(10). At this time, the micro-computer(10) amplifies the signals and converts the amplified signals to the digital signals. An LCD display(9) displays the digital signals. An alarm(17) generates an alarm signal according to a signal of a threshold detector(16).
