PURPOSE: An OTDR measurement system is provided to prevent a landslide by installing the OTDR measurement system in a landslide region so as to detect the landslide phenomenon in advance using an optical cable. CONSTITUTION: An OTDR measurement system includes a pulse generating device(110), a laser diode module(120), a coupling device(130), a photo detector(140), an amplifier(150), an A/D converter(160) and a signal processing section(170). The pulse generating device(110) creates an electric pulse signal according to a control signal and sends the electric pulse signal to the laser diode module(120). The laser diode module(120) provides strong pulse light to the coupling device(130). The photo detector(140) measures optical power by receiving a multi-mode signal from the coupling device(130). The amplifier(150) amplifies an electric signal inputted from the photo detector(140).
