<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase waterproofness of a bearing for an axle of rolling stock. <P>SOLUTION: The bearing for the axle of the rolling stock rotatably supports the axle 8 of the rolling stock. A stationary member 5 having one end fitted into an inner periphery of an outer ring 2 and a recessed part 72 of each of rotary members 6, 7 attached to the axle 8 define a labyrinth 10. A projection 54 is provided at an outer periphery of a free end of the stationary member 5.
