PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection cover which facilitates mounting, improves corrosion resistance, and prevents the part from corrosion. SOLUTION: In a protection cover to cover a joint part between piping 4 and a joint, the protection cover is provided with: a cover body 8 brought into an expandable state through a hinge part in a manner to cover the joint part; and locking mechanism 10 situated at the free ends on both sides of the cover body and engaged with each other for locking when the cover body is closed. This constitution facilitates mounting by effecting coupling by fitting the lock claw part of the locking mechanism and a lock recessed part in each other, and improves corrosion resistance of the connection part of pipings.
