PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing having a retainer with excellent durability by reducing force for leaving both ring-like members at the time of rotation and preventing a damage of a bonding member for bonding the ring-like member. SOLUTION: In the ball bearing, a bonding surface B of the ring-like members 11, 12 constituting a split type machined cage 10 is set such that an angleαformed by a line CL tightening centers O of respective pockets 13 and a line AL arriving from the center O of the pocket 13 at an intersection E of a pocket surface 11a and a bonding surface B becomes 45°or higher.
